This course is 21 days long.  The course has two components: 50 hours of theory conducted in the classroom and 100 hours of supervised clinical training at an accredited and state-approved long term care facility.  Upon successful completion of the course, students will qualify to take the State Competency Exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).

This course is a week (40 hr) long.  The course has two components: 20 hours theory and 20 hours skills.  The course can be only taken after successful CNA certification.  Proof of successful CNA certification required for admission. Upon successful completion of the program students will take school exam.

This course is 3 hours long.  It is a certification for Health Care Providers and Community Heart Saver.  The course will give you additional qualifications for finding a job.  Upon successful completion of the program students will recieve American Heart Association certification.

Students’ knowledge is evaluated on an ongoing basis through tests and quizzes.

Individuals that have earned certification as CNA and/or HHA are added to a registry maintained by the Department of Health Services. Employers can then verify that their employees certifications are up to date. Certified individuals should periodically view the registry to be sure that their entry is error-free.
